Agropromkomplektatsiya group of companies summed up the results of 2020
Despite the difficult and changing economic situation in the country as well as in the world, the group of companies showed positive dynamics of growth and development of its enterprises in the regions of presence (the Tver, Kursk and Ryazan regions). Quality indicators over the past year have been significantly improved compared to previous years of work. According to the results of the production companies and trading houses, the total turnover exceeded 63 billion rubles last year.
Agropromkomplektatsiya group of companies took the fifth place in the TOP-20 rating of the largest Russian pork producers with a 5.3% share in the total industrial production in Russia. According to the results of the work of meat processing enterprises that are part of Agropromkomplektatsiya group of companies, the production of pork for slaughter in live weight amounted to 257.5 thousand tons in 2020. In comparison with 2019 the group of companies improved its position moving up two lines at once and entering the top five.
Over the past 10 years Agropromkomplektatsiya group of companies has invested more than 105 billion rubles in production facilities on implementing a comprehensive strategy for the development of assets in the regions of presence. New production sites being launched in 2020 in the Kursk and Ryazan regions continued to be actively constructed. New dairy cattle complexes are being put into operation in stages in Dmitrievsky and Zheleznogorsky districts of the Kursk region. The total production capacity of the facilities will exceed 18 thousand heads of one-time maintenance. The volume of investments is about 15 billion rubles. The official opening of new dairy cattle complexes is scheduled for July 2021. This will create over 400 jobs and increase the social and economic attractiveness of the Kursk region. The construction of a modern elevator continues in the Ryazhsky district of the Ryazan region. The project is being implemented with the support of federal and regional authorities. Investments exceed 2.2 billion rubles. The new production facility of Agropromkomplektatsiya group of companies has a capacity of 150 thousand tons of one-time grain storage. Start of operation is scheduled on 2021. The first batch of grain will arrive at the elevator this summer. All new facilities of the group of companies are being built in a regular mode according to the production schedule.
In addition, the group of companies actively carries out modernization of existing facilities, introduces the latest technology and advanced equipment, improves technologies and optimizes business processes. In 2020 significant funds were invested in the expansion of the capacities of Dmitrogorsk Dairy Plant, LLC in Dmitrova Gora village of the Tver region. This will increase the production volumes of the curd department in order to meet the requests of the commercial department in connection with the high demand for goods in this category.
Biosafety improvement of all enterprises required 490 million rubles of investment in 2020. For example, a research and testing center APK-Kursk LLC was created in the Kursk region. It is aimed at continuous monitoring of epizootic well-being and prompt identifying any problems at the livestock facilities in the region. The new center was highly evaluated by the Rospotrebnadzor in the Kursk region and became an example for other laboratories carrying out similar tests. The positive experience of Agropromkomplektatsiya companies proves that increasing biosafety and scrupulous quality control of products will always be a positive and a cost-effective factor in the development of enterprises. It is also a driver for increasing sales including the export.
Geography of international supplies continued to expand in 2020. The volume of export products of the processing enterprises of Agropromkomplektatsiya group of companies reached 20 thousand tons. More than 3 billion rubles was allocated to develop the export potential of production sites in the Kursk region last year. Strengthening positions at the international market is an important and promising activity of Agropromkomplektatsiya group of companies. As in the Russian economic agenda the export and access to foreign markets has a priority status. In 2021 the group of companies plans to continue increase in production volumes and expand the export range of products.
